Mycelio partners with other organizations and academic groups to organize local projects and educational courses that focus on these issues. We offer participants a unique opportunity to learn about sustainable development in a real world environment, and to work together with community members to develop practical solutions to local problems. In some cases we organize projects or courses based on community needs, and invite partners to help us carry them out. In other cases, we work with partners to develop projects or courses that meet their specific needs.
We offer a ready-made environment for students or researchers to apply skills that they have learned towards real world problems.
For projects, we provide project management and structure based on community input and local connections, and make sure participants have the on-the-ground support they need to be successful.
For groups seeking to organize courses, we have attractive indoor and outdoor meeting spaces that can accommodate groups of various sizes, with beautiful 180-degree views of the beach and ocean, kitchen and bathrooms, with quick and easy access to the beach, shops, and restaurants. We also arrange for meals and accommodations for groups of any size with local guesthouses in a variety of price ranges. For more information about the area and our facilities, please review our Location section.
